Team Building
Amy creates workshops for organizations looking to up their creativity and improve connection. Improv uses skills like listening, body awareness, idea generation and memory, and can make teams more productive and people more engaged.
For 15 years, Amy has been leading workshops on communication and team-building through improvisation for businesses, non-profits, and community organizations. She has led sessions for UBC Department of Linguistics, BC Teachers Federation, Refinery, Pacific Immigrant Resource Society, Lululemon, DDB Canada, Canopy and hundreds more. In 2018, Amy received her certificate in Dialogue and Civic Engagement from SFU, which furthered her facilitation skills and allowed her to think more deeply about applications of improvisation techniques, beyond the stage.
Amy believes that a foundation of positivity and trust leads to bolder participation and accelerated idea generation. She leads workshops for organizations, focused on how the skills of improvisation can bring teams together, help with adaptability, and enliven creativity. Whether your group is a professional organization, a small business, or a non-profit, Amy would love to hear about your unique challenges, and to lead a workshop for you.
Amy has had the pleasure of working with many organizations, including the following:
