Amy has been training at high schools and junior high schools since 2005. She has coached teams annually for Rapid Fire Theatre’s Wildfire Festival, which is composed of a Theatresports tournament, as well as a Canadian Improv Games competition. She is passionate about creating cohesive, balanced teams, and giving young improvisors the confidence to succeed on stage.

She has also taught workshops for drama classes, after-school drama groups, and for teachers wanting to integrate more arts exercises into their classes.

She establishes a safe environment in which to explore ideas, and with specific and immediate responses, reinforces the students’ creative impulses. Highly recommended! [/ut_quote_alt] [ut_quote_alt author=”Linette Smith, Strathcona High School”] Seeing Amy work with our students is remarkable. Amy is knowledgeable, personable and ridiculously fun to work with. She enables students (of all ages) to feel at ease and is able to provide a safe space for taking risk, creativity and a brilliant sense of ensemble.
